Laura Farley, Chief of Credit
In 2003, Laura joined the PLP team as a credit analyst and worked with the organization for over 8 years. She decided in 2011 to venture beyond the realm of the corporate working world and focused her efforts on outside entrepreneurial endeavors and also her family. But then, in 2016, the world of SBA lending came calling her back into the arena in which she is passionate about; helping small businesses grow and acquire their own commercial real estate. For over 10 years, providing an invaluable service and developing personal and professional relationships has allowed Laura to become not simply a single-focused credit analyst but also a well-rounded small business advocate and advisor.
Laura obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Iowa in 2000. Through her college studies, she found an ardor for all things business related. The all-encompassing commercial real estate industry provides a platform for which she is able to assist and empower her borrowers as they make a life-long financial investment.
Outside of PLP, Laura tries to keep track of (and on schedule) the lives of 3 other people; her husband Dan and daughters Madigan and Elsyn. The family stays active enjoying all Colorado has to offer – hiking, running, biking, camping, and of course, visiting breweries.
